Not less than Five people were shot dead on February 1st following a clash between two rival cult groups, the Eiye Confraternity and the Buccaneers, at the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Reports reaching Myschoolcomm stated that the fight arose following the alleged shooting of a member of the Buccaneers by the Eiye Confraternity cult group. The Buccaneers has gone for revenge from whence degenerated to the death of five people, the source said.
The Police PRO in the state confirmed the incident and said they have restored normalcy in the area.
Students all over Nigeria has been warned to resist any form of the dreaded cult activities and involvements.
